Mitch Leventhal, a pioneer and major force in international education conceived of Academic Assembly as a platform to provide institutions with affordable and effective products and services to catalyze their global strategies.  He turned to Mark Shay to help bring the business to market.  Mark utilized his Business Development skills for the business as well as provided these services to several clients including the American Homestay Network and Springwood School.

Mitch conceived of the logo of a graduation cap and colorful squares.  Sherry then created a design theme in which each color of the logo became associated with one of the company’s many product lines.  Each product line then had a logo variation of the cap in that product line’s assigned color.  The flyers, images and webpages for Global Alumni were green for example, red for Student Recruitment, blue for Immigration and Compliance.  Put the flyers together in a brochure for a sales presentation and the client could graphically imagine a comprehensive suite of services.

With a black background these colors stood out as a clear representation of the breadth of Academic Assembly’s offerings.  The trade show booth and marketing material were used at NAFSA, AIRC, ICEF, AIEA and several other international education conferences and meetings.
